My name is Gabriella, or Gabby for short. I am 21 years old and live in California. I currently am going to school at a local community college but hopefully I will get accepted to a UC for fall 2010, majoring in biochemistry, molecular biology or forensic chemistry.
I love contortion, gymnastics, nature, science, animals, computers, music, movies, reading, knitting, crocheting, cooking, eating, drinking, parties, swimming, hiking, sleeping, etc.
I started contortion training on October 6, 2009. If you want to take a look at my progress, visit my contortion blog; the link is at the bottom of this page in the ‘links’ section. I hope to be able to do a chest stand in at least 2 months and have my oversplits this year.
I find it hard to describe myself. I’m mostly quiet and keep to myself although I’ve gotten better at talking with people. I don’t mind just hanging out alone or going on a walk by myself. I’m not a girly girl at all. I have calluses on my hands, I get dirty, I’m strong, I don’t like to talk about hair, makeup, manicures, weight gain/loss, or periods. I eat what I want and I’m fine with that. I’ll have a cheeseburger with bacon any day. Oh yea and I love skittles 
I love animals. When I was little I wanted to be a vet (who didn’t?) I thought about it in undergrad a bit but, no. I had the chance to pet a cheetah once and didn’t. It would have taken away the awesomeness of the animal :/ I want a Shiba Inu or a Siberian Husky someday. I currently have two cats, Araya and Phantom and a fish named Mr. Fish.
I hate the barriers we have given ourselves. To quote Adidas, impossible is nothing. I believe in Jedi powers, even if you don’t. I wish vampires, werewolves, elves and other creatures were real. I get lost in fantasy books too easily and get bummed when reality sets back in.
I want to see the world and learn from it. I would like to be fluent in at least 2 other languages in my lifetime, however long that is.
Music. I have expanded my taste from bands like Pantera, Slayer, Megadeth, Arch Enemy, Children of Bodom, Testament, classics like Jimi Hendrix, Guns n Roses, Aerosmith, Whitesnake, 90s rock like Incubus, Korn, System of a Down, Mudvayne, Static-X, etc to also include some industrial, trance, and other rock like Muse, 30 Seconds to Mars, etc. I also LOVE Lady Gaga. Hip hop and rap are on my favorites list; Lil Wayne, Trey Songz, anything on hip hop/rap radio stations. I like anything EXCEPT country. Banned. Bad.
If you hadn’t already guessed, Liar Bagel is an anagram of my name, Gabriella. I’m not a liar but I do like bagels. With butter..and honey.
