Almost St. Patty’s Day!

Well I don’t really have anything new to report. I’m gonna start oversplits on Thursday though! On my left side anyway. It feels ready. I almost have no feeling at all when I get into my left split…awesome.
As for backbending; it’s coming along. Now that I’ve gotten back into my regular groove I think I’ll improve a lot in the next few weeks, hopefully

I feel like I’ve improved a lot within the past week or so! One of the few exciting things in my life haha. My room smells like that stuff you lick on envelopes..yum.
Anyway…new videoooo! And some pics. I just realized I forgot to do the cobra pose in the vid because I CAN TOUCH MY FEET TO MY HEAD NOW IN IT! Haha. Oh and I GOT MY RIGHT SPLIT DOWN TODAY! I can feel that my left hip flexor is really tight from never really being good at right splits. I can still get down further but at least I felt the ground! Success

I went to an alumni gymnastics dinner tonight; it was really cool seeing everyone again! I’m planning on going down to the gym tomorrow and working out
Oh yea..see the pic? If I could do middle splits like 10 years ago I can get them again! *determined*
The alumni dinner made me want to find and upload a bunch of old gymnastics pics. I also found our old camcorder with all my meets on them. It records onto this old ass tape so I’m gonna have to figure out a creative way to get it on my computer :/
Anyway, I think I’m gonna stretch for a bit, or maybe not…I’m really tired and smell like Chevy’s! That place seems to linger on your clothes.

A New Beginning.

Hello all! I wanted a more dynamic and interactive blog, so I switched to Wordpress (thanks Nikole). I had one before but it gave me a headache; however with this version 2.9 it seems much better. Anyway, down to business!
I want this blog to be about anything related to contortion or flexibility, and I want to document my own journey of becoming a rubber band. I started contortion training on October 6, 2009. Here is a panoramic picture of my bridge progress since then:
I plan on making a video before 2010 to show my progress. Next Tuesday marks 3 months of training! Woohoo! Now in my bridge I just have to get it a little tighter and practice on trying to make my head touch my butt to get ready for a chest stand.
