HELLO! Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. Been busy with school and I was in VEGAS for the weekend! For a family wedding..it was a lot of fun. I also celebrated 5 months of contortion training and being a part of the lovely contortion community on March 6th
I just stretched my back out today after like a week :O bad bad bad. I haven’t really lost any flexibility; I was just a little stiff and my muscles weren’t as strong so I couldn’t push myself today. I’m hoping to stretch everyday in this next month; I really want to improve!
This month I want to mainly focus on my back, since I focused on my legs last month. I’m still gonna do legs of course. Maybe I’ll get to start oversplits soon?!? My left split barely feels like anything; except when I go into it the first time. It’s still a bit tight but after a few seconds I’m all the way down. My right split still needs some work; although I can get all the way down.
My goal is to have a chest stand by my birthday (May 10th). Possible? Impossible? It kinda sucks because I can’t do the generic stretch for it because it bends at my lower back, which I can’t do. My upper back isn’t flexi enough yet. So I’m gonna work on straight leg bridges and work on pushing my shoulders over to loosen the upper back. Anyway, just wanted to fill you in, whoever reads this. HW time eh.
